Marian moved to what had been her vacation home on Saturna Island in 2007 after downsizing from a successful Vancouver based accounting practise. She was looking for a quieter, more laid back, natural home and after searching the Gulf Islands and surrounds fell in love with the quiet tranquility of Saturna Island.

Marian bought land and project managed the construction of her dream home on the island learning much along the way about the process of land purchase and construction of a home on Saturna. Reflecting on her experience she realised that she had learned so much about transitioning from City life and could offer other potential newcomers to the island much in the way of guidance and advise in their pursuit of the island dream.

Marian started a Real Estate office on Saturna Island in 2009 in partership with Dockside Realty of Pender Island. She has been so pleased to be able to combine her accounting career with Real Estate services. This combination, according to her many clients, resulted in her representing the most buyers on Saturna in 2009 in only her first six months of business.

Marian had a dream of Island living and having made this her reality is so excited about her opportunity to facilitate bringing other's dreams to life on this beautiful Island.
